1. Entorno operativo

El contenedor se diseña y se fabrica para el transporte de la carga general por el infante de Marina, el camino, y el carril. Está diseñado para mantener su integridad estructural y el clima ajustado dentro de un rango de temperatura de -30 grados c a 80 grados c.

2. ISO/TC

Todos para cumplir la serie 1 contenedores establecidos de carga.

3. Requisitos y certificaciones de T.I.R.

 El contenedor deberá cumplir con el convenio aduanero de los contenedores, 1972 y todas las revisiones posteriores hasta la fecha y se identificará con las placas y marcas de homologación apropiadas.

 4. Tratamiento y certificación de los componentes de madera

 Todos los componentes expuestos de madera son tratados con un insecticida aprobado por el gobierno australiano y el contenedor será identificado con la placa de inmunización apropiada.

5. Requisitos de CSC

El contenedor se ajustará a las normas establecidas en la Convención Internacional para contenedores seguros y será identificada con un plato.

6. Sociedad de clasificación

 El contenedor será certificado por la sociedad de la clasificación en el diseño y individualmente durante su producción.

7. Transporte

El contenedor será construido para ser conveniente para el transporte en condiciones de funcionamiento normales por

A. Marina-en cubierta o en la célula guiada por los latigazos verticales o diagonales

B. Carril-en el coche plano o del envase asegurado en sus guarniciones de la esquina inferior

C. Camino-en el plano o el chasis asegurado en sus guarniciones de la esquina inferior

Garantía

1. Garantía

El período de garantía comenzará el día siguiente a la emisión de la certificación por la sociedad de clasificación.

2. Garantía de la pintura

La aplicación de la pintura estará garantizada contra la corrosión y la falta de pintura por un período de 3 años. La garantía es para todas las averías que afecten a más del 10% de las superficies pintadas y asegurarán la repintura parcial o total de los recipientes. Se excluye el desgaste normal o la corrosión causada por el ácido, el álcali o los resultados de daños por abrasión, impacto o accidente.

Nota: la corrosión se define como el aherrumbrar que excede RE3 (escala europea del grado de aherrumbrar) en por lo menos diez por ciento de la superficie total del envase cubierta con el sistema de capa referido.

3. La otra garantía

Este contenedor estará garantizado contra cualquier defecto u omisión en construcciones, mano de obra y materiales por un período de veinticuatro meses. En caso de defectos, SMC sustituirá, corregirá o instalará para que el contenedor satisfaga esta especificación y para su servicio previsto a costa de SMC. Se excluyen los daños causados por el manejo incorrecto, la inseguridad, la carga incorrecta, el impacto y cualquier naturaleza de los accidentes.

General

1. Operational Environment

The container is designed and manufactured for the carriage of general cargo by marine, road, and rail. It is designed to maintain its structural and weather tight integrity within a temperature range of -30 degree C to 80 degree C.

3. T.I.R. Requirements and Certifications

The container shall comply with the customs convention of containers, 1972 and all subsequent revisions to date and will be identified with appropriate approval plates and markings.

4. Timber Component Treatment and Certification

All exposed timber components are treated with an Australian government approved insecticide and the container will be such identified with appropriate immunization plate.

5. CSC Requirements

The container will comply with the rules set forth in the International Convention for Safe Containers and will be so identified with a plate.

6. Classification Society

The container will be certified by Classification Society’s in design and individually during its production.

7. Transportation

The container will be constructed to be suitable for transportation in normal operating conditions by

modes of:

A. Marine - on deck or in cell guided by vertical or diagonal lashings

B. Rail - on flat or container car secured at its bottom corner fittings

C. Road - on flat or chassis secured at its bottom corner fittings

Warranty

1. Guarantee

The guarantee period will commence the day after the certification is issued by the classification society.

2. Paint Guarantee

The application of paint will be guaranteed against corrosion and paint failure for a period of three (3) years. The guarantee is for all faults affecting more than 10% of the painted surfaces and will assure partial or total re-painting of the containers. Normal wear/tear, or corrosion caused by acid, alkali or results of damages by abrasion, impact or accident are excluded.

Note: Corrosion is defined as rusting which exceeds RE3 (European scale of degree of rusting) on at least ten (10) percent of the total container surface coated with the concerned coating system.

3. Other Guarantee

This container will be guaranteed against any defects or omissions in constructions, workmanship and materials for a period of Twenty-four (24) months. In the event of defects, SMC will replace, correct or install to make the container satisfactory to this specification and its intended service at SMC's expense. Any damages caused by mis-handling, mis-securing, mis-loading, impact and any natures of accidents are excluded.
