1.Entorno de operación

El contenedor es diseñado y manufacturado para el transporte marítimo de carga general, transporte terrestre y ferrocarril. Es diseñado para mantener su resistencia e impermeabilidad dentro del rango de temperatura de -30 grados a 80 grados.

3. Requerimientos de TIR y certificado

El contenedor debe cumplir con el convenio aduanera sobre contenedores de 1972 y sus cláusulas posteriores de modificación, y ser identificado con placas de aprobación adecuadas.

4.Tratamiento de componentes de madera y certificado

Todos los componentes expuestos de madera deben estar tratados con una insecticida de acuerdo con los requerimientos del gobierno australiano y el contenedor debe ser identificado con placa de inmunización adecuada.

5. Requerimientos de CSC

Todos los contenedores deben ser certificados, cumpliendo los requerimientos del convenio internacional de seguridad de contenedores, e identificados con una placa de identificación. 

6.Sociedad de clasificación

El contenedor será certificado por la Sociedad de Clasificación en diseño e individualmente durante su producción

7. Transportación

El contenedor será construido para ser adecuado para el transporte en condiciones normales de operación por modelos de:

A.Transporte marítimo - asegurada con cable metálico en cubierta del barco o contenedor de forma vertical o diagonal

B.Ferrocarril - asegurada en camión de plataforma o contenedores a las cuatro piezas de esquina del contenedor

C.Carre - asegurada en camión de plataforma o chasis a las cuatro piezas de esquina del contendor

Garantía

1.Garantía de calidad

El período de garantía comenzará el día después de que la certificación sea emitida por la sociedad de clasificación.

2.Garantía de pintura

La aplicación de pintura va a garantizar contra corrosión y desprendimiento de pintura por un periodo de tres (3) años. La garantía es para todos los fallos que afectan más de 10% de la superficie pintada, y asegurar la pintura parcial o total de los contenedores. El desgaste y desgaste normal, o corrosión causados por ácido, álcali o resultado de daño por abrasión, impacto o accidente están excluidos.

Nota: La corrosión es definida como oxidación cual excede RE3 (Escala europea de grado de oxidación) en por lo menos diez (10) porciento de la superficie total recubierta con el correspondiente sistema de revestimiento

3.Otras garantías

Todos los contenedores deben ser garantizados contra cualquier defecto u omisiones durante construcción, ejecución del trabajo o material con un plazo de veinte cuatro (24) meses. En caso de defectos, SMC va a reemplazar, modificar o instalar para que los contenedores satisfagan las especificaciones y su uso requerido a costo del SMC. Cualquier daño causado por mal manejo, disposición, desmontaje y choque está excluido.

1. Operational Environment

The container is designed and manufactured for the carriage of general cargo by marine, road, and rail. It is designed to maintain its structural and weather tight integrity within a temperature range of -30 degree C to 80 degree C.

3. T.I.R. Requirements and Certifications

The container shall comply with the customs convention of containers, 1972 and all subsequent revisions to date and will be identified with appropriate approval plates and markings.

4. Timber Component Treatment and Certification

All exposed timber components are treated with an Australian government approved insecticide and the container will be such identified with appropriate immunization plate.

5. CSC Requirements

The container will comply with the rules set forth in the International Convention for Safe Containers and will be so identified with a plate.

6. Classification Society

The container will be certified by Classification Society’s in design and individually during its production.

7. Transportation

The container will be constructed to be suitable for transportation in normal operating conditions by

modes of:

A. Marine - on deck or in cell guided by vertical or diagonal lashings

B. Rail - on flat or container car secured at its bottom corner fittings

C. Road - on flat or chassis secured at its bottom corner fittings

Warranty

1. Guarantee

The guarantee period will commence the day after the certification is issued by the classification society.

2. Paint Guarantee

The application of paint will be guaranteed against corrosion and paint failure for a period of three (3) years. The guarantee is for all faults affecting more than 10% of the painted surfaces and will assure partial or total re-painting of the containers. Normal wear/tear, or corrosion caused by acid, alkali or results of damages by abrasion, impact or accident are excluded.

Note: Corrosion is defined as rusting which exceeds RE3 (European scale of degree of rusting) on at least ten (10) percent of the total container surface coated with the concerned coating system.

3. Other Guarantee

This container will be guaranteed against any defects or omissions in constructions, workmanship and materials for a period of Twenty-four (24) months. In the event of defects, SMC will replace, correct or install to make the container satisfactory to this specification and its intended service at SMC's expense. Any damages caused by mis-handling, mis-securing, mis-loading, impact and any natures of accidents are excluded.
